Expected part of the early pace and may be able to hold on for a share. 1 Hold the Press has never won at distance but maybe ready to run her best with a positive rider change to F Del A Cruz. Makes 3rd start of meet and 3rd off layoff.

The 1 Notional Romance debuts for a trainer 3 for 5 FTS previous two Tampa meets. 6 You Can't Stop Me drops from 25k to 16k (30% win @TBD) and makes first start o meet and off layoff for trainer Kathleen O'Connell with her go to rider Gallardo. Will be favored and may be hard to catch. 9 J's Buck Shot Bang drops from MSW in 2nd start of meet.

Onto the turf with a 1 1/8 mile Allowance race. The 7 Tapiteao goes 2nd start for trainer Arnaud Delacour. Stretches out from mile to today's distance an 80% win angle previous two Tampa meets. Trainer also 50% win in allowance races previous two meets. Had some trouble in last and rallied for 3rd. Clean trip will help. Down side horse has yet to win on the turf 0 for 3.4 Lot's of Lex finished in front of choice in last. Bullet work for this race and will possibly be favored. Can go to lead or rally. Main danger to the choice. 9 Kashami ships in for Catalano 0 for 12 past two Tampa meets includes 0 for 8 on turf. Will be making a late run. 6 Make it Snappy 1rst off a 30+ day layoff a 42% win angle for trainer. Loses rider Allen to the 9 but picks up meets leading rider in Gallardo. Third start off layoff.

The 10 C the Judge makes 3rd career start gets a positive rider change.Improved in last race and with a little more improvement might be able to win against these. 7 Bourbon Chase finished 2nd in last. Makes 2nd start of Tampa meet for a trainer 0 for 16 previous two Tampa meets with horses making 2nd start. 12 So Fleet not crazy about post but owner trainer combo win at 11 for 36 (31%) and making a turf to dirt move 25% win and 75% in the money. 5 Gimme a Tallboy drops from 12K mc, may get up for a share.

Gets Lasix for first start since Sept 28, 2013. Has never won at today's distance but broke Maiden in first start in Ireland.
2 Finura makes 2nd start of meet and 3rd off layoff for a trainer that was 6 for 10 at Tampa in 2014. Has meets leading rider in Gallardo.7 Flower Mart goes out first time for trainer Delacour in an an allowance 50% win but 0 for 12 stat 1rst start with new trainer

7 Author Bob makes third start off layoff just missed at this level in last going shorter. Should sit close to the pace and try to run them down in the stretch. 11 Quiet Rebel outside post hurts chances for the win as does trainers 0 for 16 record in horses making 2nd start of Tampa meet. Did however finish second in last at this level going a slightly further 7f. 4 Favortie Ketch has never won on the dirt. Ships in for Jane Cibelli 2 for 2 at Tampa this meet. Gets leading rider Gallardo and drops to new low.

The Turf Dash 5f. 11 Green Mask first time gelding for Wesley Ward 26% win. Trainer 56 % win 1rst start of meet. Ward also 2 for 3 in stakes races previous two Tampa meets. Should sit just behind the pace and try to rally for the win. 10 Bold Thunder will be gunning for the lead from the start will face early pressure and maybe softened up for the choice. 7 Rojo Verde won last, makes 2nd start of meet 45% win and steps up in class. 6 Cee 'n O won last for Ness/Gallardo big step up in class. Trainer 38% win stepping up in class at Tampa. Have to mention the 2 Stormofthecentury is the class of the field but struggled in 2014 facing better than most of these. Did finish behind and in front of choice in two listed 2014 races. Goes out for new trainer 2nd off 45-180 day 0 for 13.

6f Allowance optional claimer. Bet Bet the 8 Houston Bull first start of meet for trainer winning at 40%. Centeno to ride, a 42% jock/trainer combo at Tampa. Good works for return has won this distance and track. Should get a great stalking trip. 11 Chelios makes 2nd start of meet lightly raced runner can rally and gets repeat service of jockey Robby Allen. 7 Where's the Cat makes 3rd start off layoff, turf to dirt and has never lost on the dirt 3 for 3. Loses winning rider Centeno to the top pick. Replacement rider Vega winning at 27%. 4 Eclipticalswildcat turf to dirt, 2nd start off layoff. Loses regular rider to 2nd choice. Picks up meets leading rider Gallardo.

Close out he day with a 1 mile turf claimer. 8 Kathy's Kitten for Ness/Gallardo will be hard to beat. Makes 2nd start of meet and turnback from 1 1/8 to mile distance(Ness 41% turn back angle). 9 Runyon Humor dirt to turf 27% win angle for trainer. Makes second start of meet and 2nd off layoff. Stretches out from dirt sprint to turf mile. 1 Condestable making 3rd start of meet for trainer that wins 23% with 3 plus starts at Tampa previous two meets. Steps up in class dirt to turf. Has won on the turf. 4 Malibu Tide comes in off a layoff and can rally for a share.
